Students and staff wore jeans in school today for a non-uniform day to raise awareness for the ‘Jeans for Genes’ campaign.

Only a few weeks away from Armistice Day, we’d like to take the opportunity to invite members of the public, parents, carers, neighbours and friends to our special Community Memory Day, as part of an ambitious Key Stage 3 project.

Year 7 enjoyed their first ever Super Learning Day on Thursday, learning about sea creatures and the density of salt water, amongst numerous other Science related topics.

Stephen Riley, director of M10 Missions, recently visited Marden High to talk about his fundraising project, giving 16 – 18 year olds a chance of a lifetime to travel to Mexico and build a house for a family who needs it.
Congratulations to Year 10 Rebecca Moore of the UK Youth Parliament , who has won the ‘Make a Difference’ award at the British Youth Council’s 2014 Youth on Board award. Well done Rebecca!
